The Interior Design major depends on the technical aspects in the design of the interior spaces of the buildings in order to add aesthetic touches and distinct artistic elegance, as the interior design combines art and technology in order to reach the modern professional level in transforming the spaces into paintings with integrated elements. Since ancient times, humans have used interior design in the design of interior spaces, and this is evident in some caves that contain drawings and interior designs! With the development that we are witnessing in the modern era, this field is entering the world of academic study due to the general tendency of humanity towards specialization and professionalism.
This major focuses on technical drawing, basic arts and computer-based drawing, in addition to a group of scientific courses that form the basic structure of the Interior Design major. Duration of study:
The duration of study in the Interior Design major is two years in most international universities, as well as in Turkish universities, while the duration of study in the field of Interior Architecture is four years, and this is the difference between the two majors.
